How To Prevent Gas From Beans

One of the best ways to prevent gas from beans is to change how we cook the beans so that we get rid as much as possible of the soluble fibre in beans which is the main cause of the gas. The soluble fiber of the beans is feeds the bacteria in the bowel. It is this bacteria that then cause the gas. You need to do the following to reduce the soluble fiber before and during the cooking process:-
  • Soak the beans overnight and throwing the water away the following day.
  •  Throwing the water with which you bring the beans to boil.
These two steps will remove most of the soluble fiber in the beans and thus deprive the bacteria in the bowel their fuel for producing more gas.
