Guggul Lowers Cholesterol

Guggul commiphora wightii or commiphora mukul is an herb that is found mainly in Arabia and India. It recently stimulated a lot of interest due to its proven ability to lower cholesterol levels. It is therefore a perfect non toxic alternative to conventional cholesterol lowering drug.

Warning: It is advised that patients should take the standardised form of guggul commiphora wightii as the crude form can cause diarrhoea  when taken internally and skin rashes if taken externally. When taking  guggul observe your reaction from the tree and  stop if adverse conditions result. Guggul is also well known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidants and antiseptic.
