How Walnut Juglans regia Is Prepared To Treat Various Ailments

Used As A Walnut Juglans Regia Infusion

  • 100 grams of Walnut leaves are added to a bath to treat acne, rickets and other ailments mentioned above. The double amount is used for a strong decoction.
  • To prepare a Walnut Cordial approximately 20 unripe nuts are quartered, put into a wide-necked bottle and 1 litre of rye whisky is poured over them so that they are covered by 2 to 3 finger widths. Well stoppered, the bottle is kept in the sun or in a warm place for 2 to 4 weeks.The liquid is strained and bottled. According to need — 1 teaspoonful is taken. To make it palatable one can add half an orange and a small piece of vanilla pod.
