Blood Detoxification or Cleanse

Blood is the key body liquid or fluid which transports substances throughout the body. It delivers the nutrients from the food we eat to areas of the body that need it and assists the body in eliminating waste by transporting it to the organs such as kidneys, lungs, liver and skin that expel the waste from the body. Due to the high fat diets that we eat we end up overwhelming the body with all sorts of toxins and the blood is not spared from this as well. That is the reason we need blood detoxification or cleanse or cleansing to assist it get rid of the toxins that may cause sickness. 


How to Do A Blood Detoxification or Cleansing

  • Dandelion root and beetroot have been proven in various scientific studies as good blood cleansers. You therefore need to take dandelion root and beetroot once in a while to rid the blood of the accumulation of waste in the blood. 
  • The use of garlic has been shown to assist in cleansing from the blood various toxins.
  • Eating more alkaline foods such as deep-coloured  fruits and vegetables is not only healthful but helps in blood detoxification and cleansing.
  • Avoiding meat, dairy and processed foods will ensure that the blood is not overwhelmed with the accumulation of toxins in the body.
  • Taking a lot of water. i.e. at least eight glasses for an average person helps in the elimination process as well.
