Burdock is regarded as a cleansing herb or remedy that helps the body to rid itself of tocins including heavy metals. Burdock root is native to Europe and Asia. Generally it is the root, leaves and seeds that are used for healing oneself or preventing diseases naturally. The main constituent in the leaf and root are bitter glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, volatile oil, antibiotic, polyacetylenes, resin, mucilage, inulin, alkaloids, sesquiterpenes.

Dosage

You can also make a poultice of burdock root for skin sores and leg ulcers.
