Ingredients for a Spaghetti Sauce
The ingredients for the spaghetti sauce are as follows:-
½ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1¼ cups Vegeburger
3 tablespoons oil (olive preferred)
1 can (6-oz) tomato paste
¾ cup water
1 package Spaghetti Sauce mix
1 tablespoon brown sugar
⅛ teaspoon cumin
How To Make Spaghetti Sauce
- Saute onion, garlic, and Vegeburger in the oil
- Mix tomato paste with water, spaghetti sauce mix, and seasonings until smooth; add to vegeburger mixture; simmer ½ hour
- Spoon over cooked spaghetti, beans, or slices of Oven-Fried eggplants (p.122) laid in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 400°F. 10 minutes or until heated through.
After this serve the spaghetti sauce whilst still hot.
