Raw Food

Eating  raw food especially raw vegetables has no equal in terms of protecting the body and helping the body's cure itself from various diseases. It is common knowledge that cooking food changes the chemical formula of the food we eat and lessens its ability to nourish the body as some enzymes, vitamins and other essential elements are lost during the cooking process. Microwaving food destroys more enzymes and essential amino acids than other forms of cooking. It would be advisable to steam the food if you cannot eat them raw rather microwaving the food. Cooking food not only makes the food  less health promoting but even harmful to the body in some cases. Cases have been given in which cancer patients have managed to defeat cancer by switching to a mainly raw food diet comprising of raw vegetables and fruits.

  • Raw food eliminates toxins and waste that may have accumulated in the body.
  • Raw food restores acid/alkaline balance.
  • It also supplies the maximum level of nutrients in the food to the body for optimal cell function.
  • It also increases the efficiency with which cells up oxygen thereby improving cell activities.
  • Raw food also helps in reducing weight.
  • Eating raw food also helps our self esteem by making us feel and look great.
