Cure yourself With Cayenne Pepper: Cayenne Pepper Healing Benefits

Dr Richard Schulze, medical herbalist of 'there are no incurable diseases' fame says, "If you master only one herb in your life, master cayenne pepper. It is more powerful than any other." The same belief is shared by his mentor the Late Dr Christopher. When you consider the testimonies of cancer patients and other 'incurables' who have been healed by natural remedies prescribed by these natural remedies experts, you cannot but take notice when they beat the drum for cayenne pepper.

We therefore need to learn more about this herb as it may one day save our life or the life of our loved ones. Let us therefore master this herb by learning from the experts themselves.

Dr Richard Schulze tells students who ask him on What are the ten most important herbs to have in the home that, "At the top of the list is cayenne pepper, because it will make the other nine work better."

Dr Richard Schulze says that "If you take cayenne pepper in capsules, you may be wasting your time and never getting the cures I got with my patients." Cayenne pepper has to be taken orally if we are to experience its maximum healing benefits. Other forms might be helpful but not as helpful as taking it orally.

What happens is that much of cayenne's healing action occurs right in your mouth. As cayenne touches your tongue, the cayenne absorbs in seconds and nerve endings send signals throughout the body - sending waves of fresh blood to wherever you are sick. New healing begins in seconds. Let us rememember that inorder for healing to take place fresh blood has to reach the diseased part to cleanse and bring food in the form of enzymes etc to the cells. These surges of fresh blood do not occur when you bypass the mouth by taking capsules.

Therefore treatment such as hydrotherapy and taking cayenne assist the body in making sure that fresh blood reaches those areas that are diseased. To make sure that blood goes in and out of those diseased parts we need treatments such as the hot and cold treatments so that the fresh blood is able to remove the toxins and bring them down to the body's lungs and kidneys for purification. It works as a pump, heat bringing blood to the surface and the cold constricting the vessels pushing the blood down to be purified in the cleaning organs of the body such as the lungs and kidneys.

As most herbalists say all diseases is the result of blockage and any treatment if it is to be long lasting has to treat that blockage. This requires that we stop taking the things that caused the blockage and do things that bring healing and avoids such blockages.

Cayenne helps all these healing processes by making sure the herbs that we take are able to reach the diseased parts by increasing the speed of the flow of blood in the body.

Even scientist are now recognising the benefits of cayenne pepper. In a recent letter to the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine, three Italian doctors describe how they were able to reduce patients' reported dyspepsia symptoms by more than half -  by prescribing red pepper powder. In a study of 30 patients with  functional dyspepsia, half of the participants received a placebo, while the other half took 2.5 grams of red pepper powder each day (divided into capsules taken before each of three meals). Both groups took their respective treatments for five weeks, and rated their symptoms each day on a scale of zero  to three (higher scores indicated more severe symptoms). By the third week, the red pepper group showed a significant advantage over the control group. And by week five, the pepper group's symptoms had declined 60 percent from their baseline scores - while the control group's scores had only decreased about half as much. The symptom scores included ratings for pain, a feeling of fullness, nausea, and an overall score. The red pepper powder produced significant gains in all four areas.

Cayenne pepper is also a very high source of Vitamins A and C, has the complete B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons it is good for the heart

Dr Agatha Thrash of Uchee Pines Institute also says cayenne can be used against migraines. She says, 'Just at the start of a migraine, put five to ten drops of a cayenne extract in the nostril on the side of the headache. Hold the medicine in the nostril. The headache is usually gone in about 10 minutes. Even after headaches are well established the cayenne extract will work fairly well. In these cases it may need to be used on both sides. Interestingly enough, the pain in the nostrils is not as intense as one would think it could be. The way to make the tincture is a quarter of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in one cup of pure grain alcohol from a liquor store at 80 - 95% concentration, the best solvent range for cayenne. Let is set for a day or two and it is then ready for use. It can be filtered to get rid of the solid portion, or merely allowed to settle and the top portion poured off.

Cayenne pepper has also been known to treat heart attacks. A drop in the mouth of cayenne tincture in the mouth has been known to stop heart attacks in minutes.
