Heal Yourself From Whooping Cough

In the following paragraphs I intend to show the natural remedies that should be used to heal or cure yourself from whooping cough. The methods described are simple and yet have proved very effective in fighting whooping cough.

Whooping cough is an infection caused by a bacterium (germ) called Bordetella pertussis. This bacterium is spread to others through contaminated droplets in the air, produced during coughing and by close contact with an affected person. The bacterium attaches to cells which line the airways. It then multiplies and causes the symptoms.

Bordetella pertussis bacteria affect the lining of the airways in some way to cause symptoms (mainly a
cough) to continue for a long time after the bacteria have gone.

To heal or cure yourself from whooping cough you need to do the following:-

  • A danger in whooping cough is exhaustion from violent coughing. Besides the usual measures of good elimination, steam inhalation, light diet, and quiet, the patient will benefit by a daily or twice daily spinal steam pack. It loosens the mucus in the bronchial tubes, allays the irritating cough, intensifies the germ-killing acvity of the white blood cells, and relaxes and soothes the patient.
  • A small sip of honey-eucalyptus cough syrup may be given as often as needed.
  • If ever good hydration is needed, it is in whooping cough. Use every means to increase water drinking, but do not give juices between meals. Various types of hot or cool tea, mint, red clover, lemon grass, or catnip with a twist of lemon, a sprig of rose leaves or geranium petals can all make water more appetizing. Mullein and slippery elm teas are soothing and have some expectorant effect.
  • Take eight cloves of  of raw garlic  in the form of preferably garlic juice or eat it raw to kill off the bacteria.
  • Another instance of the remarkable penetrating power of garlic is the fact that the expressed juice of fresh garlic mixed with olive oil and rubbed on the chest, throat, and between the shoulder blades gives great relief in whooping cough, asthma, bronchitis and dyspnea, according to an English physician who has used it with success for many years.
  • I have personally also benefited from the alternating hot and cold shower. If you do it for a maximum of seven times of alternating very hot and very cold shower always finishing with a cold shower. The benefits are usually immediate and you may discover that whereas before you had struggled with sleep due to coughing that day would be the start of a nice peaceful sleep.
I urge to try these measure and you will discover that these simple measures are the most effective in fighting a whooping cough or any cough.
