Appendix Location

I am aware that some young people, even some elders may be wondering as to the appendix location in the body. This article deals with that question and also the possible uses of the appendix.
Appendix location
The appendix is located at the junction of the small intestines and large intestines on the lower right of the  abdomen. It protrudes at that junction and is about four inches long. The diagram above presents a visual guide as to the precise location of the appendix.

Some scientist believe that the appendix is just a useless remnant of evolution.I have known people who have without any reason decided to have their appendix removed to prevent any future infection of the appendix such as appendicitis. I however, believe that the appendix has some use and I concur with those scientists who believe that the appendix is a repository or storehouse of good bacteria that can be called upon when needed by the body especially in cases of diarrhea diseases.
