Korean Traditional Noodle (Job Chai)

In the video below Kyong Weathersby and her husband Larry continue with a series on tasty and delicious vegan Korean dishes. In this video we are going to learn how to prepare Korean traditional Noodle Job Chai. In continuing with their emphasis on good health the recipe does not include anything that can injure our bodies. Spices that can irritate the mucus lining of the stomach and intestines and cause other problems are not included in this recipe. Korean Traditional Noodle Ingredients


1 12-oz package oriental noodles or 1 13.5-oz. package thin spaghetti noodles, cooked
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, shredded
5 green onions, cut 1" long
1 cup of  fresh spinach, cut in 1" size pieces
1 cup of walnut gluten or any veggie meat, sliced, or 1 c. sliced mushrooms
6 Tablespoon of unfermented soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon. nutritional yeast flakes
1/2 Tablespoon of  onion powder
1 Tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds
2 Tablespoon of sesame oil
1 1/2 Tablespoon of turbinado sugar


How To make Korean Traditional Noodle (Job Chai)


Add a little oil to a large skillet, and add onion, carrot, green onion, spinach and gluten. Stir-fry until onions are clear.


Add to cooked noodles, then add soy sauce, garlic, yeast flakes, onion powder, sesame seeds, turbinado sugar, and sesame oil. Mix well. May be served warm or cold.
