Mould and Mildew Prevention

Moulds and mildew when allowed to fester can cause all sorts of diseases in the home. The spores of the moulds floating in the air can cause diseases and infections such as asthma, sinus infection, chronic fatigue, memory impairment, headaches and many respiratory and other  infections.  To ensure healthful living within the home there is need to take some preventative and remedial actions against moulds and mildew. For mould and mildew prevention the following steps should be taken:-

  • To reduce excess moisture, you need to fix all the leaks within the home immediately we notice a leak.
  • We should always open the windows to increase ventilation within the home.
  • We should also ensure that all spills on carpets  are quickly cleaned  to prevent mould and mildew growth.
