How To Prepare a Castor Oil Pack


Castor oil packs  are used externally over the skin to improve blood circulation and promotes the healing of internal tissues and organs. Castor oil packs mostly applied on the abdomen and the liver and spleen areas of the skin and has been proven to improve liver function, relieve pain, improve digestion and reduce inflammation Castor Oil packs are especially effective in enhancing eliminations and circulation

How To Prepare A Castor Oil Packs

The following is the procedure for the preparation of castor oil packs:-
  • Cut to size cotton or wool flannel strips (1 or 2 layers thick) to be used over the Liver, Thymus, and Spleen Areas.
  • Take one flannel strip and place on top of a slightly larger plastic sheet.
  • Take this flannel strip/plastic sheet combination and place it on top of a heating pad.
  • Take raw organic castor oil that has been stored in the refrigerator, and pour 1/4 cup over the flannel.
  • Squeeze the flannel strips to evenly distribute the castor oil throughout.
