Dog Rose (Rosa Canina) Benefits

Dog Rose Rosa Canina

This name, Dog Rose Rosa canina, originally came from ancient Romans who erroneously believed that this invasive weed was a cure for rabies. Dog Rose Rosa Canina is an effective astringent, diuretic and anti-inflammatory. The hips (fruits) are rich in vitamins, especially vitamin C, and can be made into syrups and jellies. The parts of dog rose used for medicinal properties are the fruits and leaves.

How Dog Rose Rosa Canina Is Used And Prepared For Nutrition and Treatment.

As Dog Rose Syrup: Add 8 oz of honey to 10fl oz of a strong decoction of Dog Rose hips.
