Heal Yourself With Sage


Sage (Salvia officinalis)
Sage (Salvia officinalis) is one of the most useful herb that one can use to heal oneself and prevent various diseases and infections. This herb commonly used in stuffings , soups and stews. It is antibacterial, antidepressant, anti-inflamatory and anti-septic.

Used in Bath

The leaves can be put in a bath and it will stimulate and cleanse the skin and scalp and soothe tired muscles.

Steam  Inhalation

It can also be used for steam inhalation to heal yourself from colds. It is soothing to mucous membranes and cleansing to skin pores.

Gargle for Sore Throat

You can also gargle to heal yourself from a sore throat.

Used As an Infusion

When used as a drink it suppresses perspiration, salivation and lactation. It improves liver and kidney function, digestion and memory. It also helps to combat night sweats and other menopausal problems. When drunk cold it is an effective remedy against menopausal hot flushes.

Used As a Skin Wash

It can also be used as a skin wash for insect bites and skin infections.

Used As a Mouthwash

Sage is also effective when used as a mouthwash in combation mouth ulcers, inflamed gums, laryngitis
